The Church

Saint Kenneth Catholic Church

We are blessed to be celebrating the sacrament of marriage at St. Kenneth Catholic Church on Friday, May 20th, 2016 at Four o’clock in the afternoon.  This Church has held many fond memories for both Richie and Lisa throughout the years. Richie and his family have been  members at this parish since moving to Northville in 1992. Lisa and Richie have celebrated many Christmas seasons at this church. Father Tom Belczak, has traveled with Richie and his family to Alaska as well as other journeys.  St. Kenneth’s has become a home for Richie and Lisa throughout the wedding planning process. We hope to share our spiritual home with you.

St. Kenneth or, Canice, whose feast is celebrated on October 11th, was an abbot from Scotland and Ireland (from approximately 599 AD). He was chosen patron for our Parish, located on Haggerty Road between Five Mile and Schoolcraft. St. Kenneth Parish was established on June 21, 1967 by the Archbishop John Dearden. Father James Machak was appointed as the founding pastor.
